Leonard John Keller

	Leonard John Keller, Jr., 74, of Tamaroa, passed away at 12:20 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2000 at the Skilled Care Unit of Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
	John was a retired truck driver for the Blue Bell Packing Co. after 36 years of service.  He was of the Baptist faith.  He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society Masters.
	He was born August 26, 1925 in Perry County, the son of Leonard John Keller Sr. and Goldie (Pitchford) Keller.  He married Christina E. Rice on December 30, 1946 at Perry County and she survives.
	He is survived by his wife of Tamaroa; mother, Goldie Keller of DuQuoin; daughter, Kay Kellerman and husband Harold of Pinckneyville; two sons, Johnny Keller of Benton City, Wash. and Dan Keller and wife Lisa of Murphysboro; three sisters, Kathryn Kehoe of Carlinville, Betty Atkins of DuQuoin and Jessie Pestka of Tamaroa; two brothers, Robert Keller of Tamaroa and Charles Keller of Valier; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a good friend, Estelle Crawford of Tamaroa.
	He was preceded in death by his father and one infant daughter, Carolyn Sue.
	Funeral services were Thursday, May 18, 2000 at 1:30 p.m. at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Rev. Bruce Walker officiating.
	Friends were able to call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
	Interment was in the Tamaroa Cemetery.
